Pedestrian Safety on Great Seneca Highway

City of Gaithersburg staff attended a meeting on Oct. 9 with State Senator Jennie Forehand, three residents, and State Highway traffic engineers at Great Seneca Highway and High Gables Drive to discuss pedestrian safety at that location.

According to a daily briefing email sent to the city’s elected leaders, the meeting stemmed from a complaint from a resident regarding the difficulty pedestrians have crossing Great Seneca Highway at that location.
