Residents March for Pedestrian Improvements Along Norbeck Road (VIDEO)
UPDATED Some Hampshire Village residents marched on Tuesday afternoon to emphasize the need for pedestrian improvements along Norbeck Road.
“We want stop signs,” they chanted as they held signs and demonstrated.
Hampshire Village resident Millie Ryan says the busy road is difficult to cross because there is no signal light or crosswalk. She says seniors have trouble simply trying to cross the road to reach East Norbeck Park.

According to Ryan, demonstrators plan to march once a month until the pedestrian improvements are made.
“We have to make noise to be heard,” she said.
