Two Pedestrians Hurt in Traffic Accident
Montgomery County police are investigating a pedestrian accident at 355 and Shady Grove Road that occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 7.
Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham reports that two pedestrians were seriously injured and have been transported to area trauma centers.
Police report that outbound 355 at O’Neill Drive and the westbound lanes of Shady Grove Road at 355 were closed because of the accident investigation.
Both victims are at Sububan hospital in Bethesda! Reports indicate that the female Selena is in critical condition and currently onlife support and unresponsive. Her husband Salvadore suffered two broken ankles and head injuries. Family is expected to sign a release for surgery on Selena.
The two victims are currently at Suburban Hospital. Selena and her husband Salvadore suffered severe injuries after the pedestrian accident on rt. 355. Salvadore is recovering from severer head injuries and broken ankles. Selena is in critical condition and on life support. Her hips were broken and she is unresponsive. Her brother is coming in to sign a release for surgery to begin.
