Unadulterated Truth About Life

The purpose of the blog is to share the chronicles of an emerging social entrepreneur in Montgomery County. Urrikka Woods-Scott is on a mission to provide innovative services to under-served older adults and people with disabilities, as well as, savvy solutions for caregivers and organizations seeking assistance in meeting the needs of these populations. She is the Chief Empowerment Officer of UBW Senior Solutions, LLC, a life coaching practice that specializes in older adult transitions, caregiving, careers in aging, and consulting with expertise in the field of gerontology. Along with her husband, Romain Scott, Urrikka launched a home cleaning and companion service agency, Blessing Buddies, LLC. Blessing Buddies is not the typical house cleaning service. We take a vested interest in our client’s overall health and well-being to uncover additional needs and serve as an information and referral “buddy” to connect all to available services in the community.

This blog will show the intertwined reality of attaining work/life balance is a myth once you have decided to take the leap of faith into the small business world.
