Autism After 21

Headquartered in Rockville, MD, Madison House Autism Foundation (MHAF) partners with families, universities, governments, and businesses to create a more inclusive world for adults with autism. MHAF also operates Madison Fields, a farm in Dickerson, MD that offers riding lessons to individuals with special needs, wounded veterans, and the broader community.

500,0000 children with autism will reach adulthood over the next decade. Once these children reach the age of 21, they “age out” of the school system and are often left with few options for housing, employment, and socialization. Through innovative programming, online resources, events, and awareness initiatives, MHAF is working to create a better future for these adults.

“Autism After 21” by MHAF aims to inform Montgomery County on issues facing adults with autism. Follow us on our mission to build a more autism-friendly community and world.
