Nearly a third of the county’s pedestrian collisions are occurring in parking lots or garages. That’s why County Executive Isiah Leggett has launched a pedestrian safety campaign to raise awareness of this issue. Community Relations Manager Tom Pogue of the Department of Transportation has details.
