Over Two Dozen Chickens Perish in Coop Fire
Montgomery County firefighters are investigating a coop fire in Potomac that killed 25 chickens last night.
It happened at 11:45 p.m. in the 11000 block of Woodthrush Lane off Glen Road.
A nearby vehicle, a Jeep Cherokee, was also damaged in the blaze, according to a county fire official.
Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said fire damage is estimated at over $10,000.
