Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and Council Vice President Nancy Floreen joined Elm Street Development, Montgomery Housing Partnership, HUD officials and members of the community on June 24th to cut the ribbon at Olney Springs.

This new mixed-income, for-sale development is located in Olney and features 57 detached single-family homes and 57 town homes built on a 32-acre parcel of vacant land that had been owned by the County and earmarked for a public school, until the decision was made to sell it to create more affordable and workforce housing.

Olney Springs is now one of the first communities in the county to include workforce priced homes along with affordable and market rate homes.
