Olney Library Kiosk Closing on Aug. 11

Due to the closing of the Longwood Community Center, from Sunday, August 11 through Sunday, August 25 for building maintenance and cleaning, library services provided by MCPL Express@Olney will be unavailable during this time. 

The designation OLN_LOCKER will be unavailable as a location in the catalog for the pickup of holds between July 31 and August 25. This location will be available again on Monday, August 26. 

Any holds placed in the lockers on August 1 will be held for customer pick-up at the center until noon on Tuesday, August 6. 

Customers whose holds have been received but are still awaiting lockers will be contacted by MCPL staff and given the option to transfer them to another branch for pick-up.

Holds not transferred to another branch for pickup during the time the center is closed will be placed into available lockers once Longwood reopens, starting on Tuesday, August 27.  Depending on the number of holds that require lockers, holds may not be available for pick-up until August 29 or later.
