Olney Area Collision Kills Germantown Woman

A 45-year-old Germantown woman died from injuries suffered in an automobile wreck Sunday in the Olney area, a Montgomery County police statement said.

The collision occurred before 10:30 a.m. at Bowie Mill and Fraley Farm roads, police said.

Preliminary investigation revealed both cars were traveling on Bowie Mill Road in opposite directions near Fraley Farm Road, police said.

Xiaolin Fu, 51, of Circle Gate Drive was traveling westbound in a 2012 Honda Accord on Bowie Mill Road. William Eduardo Gonzalez, 21, of Wickham Road, Olney, was driving eastbound, police said. The cause of the collision is still being investigated, police said.

Fu and a 13-year-old girl in his car were taken to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said. His 45-year-old passenger, Wenshuo Zhu, also of Circle Gate Drive, died at the hospital from her injuries, police said.

Gonzalez was taken to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
