Officials Fault Hogan Road Plan Ahead of Key Meeting

Officials from Montgomery, Prince George’s and Frederick counties met in Silver Spring on Monday morning to assail Gov. Hogan’s plan to widen I-270 and the Capital Beltway.

Their press conference was scheduled in advance of a Board of Public Works meeting in Annapolis where the three-member body is to take the first steps in making the widening plan a reality. Hogan, Comptroller Peter Franchot of Takoma Park and Treasurer Nancy Kopp, a former delegate from Bethesda, are the members of the board.
