Office of Procurement Public Hearing Set for Feb. 24

The Montgomery County Council will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, on Expedited Bill 7-15 that would establish the Office of Procurement as a principal office of the County’s Executive Branch. The bill would transfer procurement related functions to the Office of Procurement and generally would amend the law regarding procurement and related functions.

The public hearing will be held in the Third Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building, which is located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville. The meeting will be televised live by County Cable Montgomery (CCM—Cable Channel 6 on Comcast and RCN, Channel 30 on Verizon) and can be viewed via streaming through the County website at www.montgomerycountymd.gov.
