Obama Applauds County Inmate Jobs Program (VIDEO)
President Barack Obama recently cited the jobs training program in the Montgomery County correctional system during an address he made at the NAACP convention in Philadelphia.
“Some places are doing better than others. Montgomery County, Maryland, put a job training center inside the prison walls to give folks and head start in thinking about what may you do otherwise than committing crimes,” Obama said.
