NWS Reports Slight Risk of Thunderstorms Today
It’s important to watch the weather today.
The National Weather Service reports there is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms thru early afternoon east of the Blue Ridge. According to the NWS outlook, damaging winds will the primary threat with isolated tornadoes and large hail also possible.
Strong wind gusts may continue in the wake of a cold front moving in late this afternoon and evening.
