
NWS Issues Winter Weather Advisory for Monday in Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Montgomery County, which could affect Monday afternoon and evening commutes.
According to the advisory, a light wintry mix of rain, freezing rain and snow is likely Monday from 3 to 9 p.m.
A winter weather advisory means that freezing rain Monday evening has the potential to significantly disrupt travel. Be prepared for slippery roads, slow down and use caution while driving.
Montgomery County extends the Hypothermia Alert through Monday, Jan. 8 at noon. Temperatures and wind chill are expected to be less than 20 degrees.
