NWS Issues Winter Storm Warning for Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has upgraded the winter storm watch to a winter storm warning indicating heavy snowfall or ice accumulations are now imminent.
A winter storm warning means that significant amounts of snow, sleet, or freezing rain are expected or are occurring in the warned area.
Travel disruptions within the County and region are likely as roads quickly become snow covered and icy. Caution should be used during any travel and please remain alert for ongoing plow/salt operations. Deteriorating weather conditions are now imminent.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm watch for Montgomery County from Sunday night, March 2, through Monday afternoon, March 3. Freezing rain, sleet and snow are expected, according to the NWS.
Residents are advised to begin winter storm preparations and remain alert for the issuance of additional warnings.
A winter storm watch is issued when there is the potential for significant snowfall and hazardous winter weather within 48 hours.
