NWS Issues Wind Advisory for Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Montgomery County, effective from 2 p.m. this afternoon to midnight.
The strongest winds are expected to occur in two waves, according to the advisory, at midday and then again in the late afternoon through this evening.
Winds are expected to blow from the west, 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph. There may be scattered tree and power line damage, according to the National Weather Service.
It’s important to secure outdoor furniture and take care driving high profile vehicles.
