UPDATED Hold onto your hat and protect your plants. The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory and freeze warning for Montgomery County effective from 11 p.m. Saturday to noon on Sunday.
According to the advisory, winds will be blowing from the west between 20 mph to 30 mph with gusts of up to 55 mph.
The winds are expected to reach our area late Saturday evening thru Sunday morning as a cold front moves into the area.
There may be scattered tree and power line damage and motorists may have difficulty driving high profile vehicles. According to the advisory, it’s important to secure outdoor furniture and take care while driving high profile vehicles.
