North Bethesda Woman’s Roommate Arrested for Her Slaying
The roommate of a woman found stabbed to death in her North Bethesda apartment Tuesday has been charged with killing her.
Montgomery County Police say they charged Rita Narcissa Sanders-Campfield, 53, with first-degree murder. She is charged with killing Chong Park, 67.
Police responded to 11800 Old Georgetown Road about 10:11 a.m. Tuesday for the report of a death. According to police, they met Sanders-Campfield at that apartment. Police reported finding Park stabbed in the torso.
Sanders-Campfield is scheduled for a bond hearing at 1 p.m. today. Additional details are not yet available.
