Nighttime Task Force Set to Improve Nightlife (Photos)

The “Nighttime Economy” Task Force held its first meeting on May 20. The task force’s goal is to improve the nightlife in the county. Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett (D) attended it and says the issue won’t get solved overnight.

“If you really want long-term solutions, it will take time for us to resolve those things,” Leggett said.

The task force has about 20 members with backgrounds including development, entertainment, business and community outreach. Over the next six months, they will delve into policies, resources and amenities to help find a solution.

Check out photos below of the task force members and officials who sat in the meeting.
