NFC Least?
The NFC East is usually one of the NFC’s best divisions because of their competitive nature and physical play style. The first three weeks of football say other wise. The NFC East has combined for three wins with the Dallas Cowboys in the lead at 2-1. The big question is who will win the NFC East?
My prediction is that the Cowboys will win the division and go 9-7. Tony Romo has been on fire. Today he threw for 210 yards and 3 TDs without an interception. The defense is doing their part in shutting down when big stops are needed. The Cowboys look more in sync this season than they did last year. I’m convinced that they are not only a threat to NFC East teams, but to the NFL.
Chip Kelly’s high speed offense has been figured out pretty quickly. The style is not one for the NFL and his players have been worn down faster than the opponent. It is hard because Michael Vick has not shown the ability to maintain stamina while running the read option. During Thursday’s game against the Chiefs, we saw young Michael Vick running for the 1st 30 yards. Then, we saw his aged legs kick in. This offense will not be able to last the season.
The Redskins defense has been sub-par and not been able to make key stops. Even though RG III looks ready to run again, his offense doesn’t seem to be on the same page. This is now a BIG problem considering RG III and Coach Shanahan have had previous problems with being a cohesive unit.
The Giants have been playing worse every week. I think the big problem is the Offensive line. The Panthers sacked Eli Manning seven times and caused him to make quick and often bad decisions with the ball. If they keep this up then Eli won’t be able to get the ball off clean. Manning threw for 119 yards and an interception and in any football league that won’t win you games. If the O- line can’t protect Eli then they will have trouble beating future teams on their schedule like the Packers, Bears and Seahawks. Next week the Giants play at Kansas City and from today’s game it looks like they have a lot of homework to do.
Very proud of you Gabriel, nicely done. But i am even more proud of the man of God you are becoming. Go Ravens
Nicely done Gabriel. I’m not really a football fan but your article was very enjoyable to read and I think your predictions are dead on. Good job.
