New Text Telephone Number (Video)

Montgomery County’s Customer Service Center, MC311, for non-emergency government information and services is now using a new Text Telephone (TTY) phone number. A TTY is a special device that lets people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech-impaired use the telephone to communicate, by allowing them to type messages back and forth to one another instead of talking and listening. The new number to call for a TTY connection is 301.251.4850. Regular callers from inside the county need only to dial 3-1-1. For more information about TTY, take a look at this video clip.
