New MCPS Superintendent Visits Schools on a Delivery Truck (VIDEO)

Dr. Jack Smith, the new superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools, has been visiting the district’s schools and meeting staff, and he has been doing so by riding along on an MCPS delivery truck.

Dr. Smith has also posted a message to the MCPS community on the district’s website.

“I am excited and grateful to lead Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), one of the largest, most respected school systems in the nation,” he writes.
