New HIV Treatment Program at Community Clinic, Inc. (VIDEO)

Community Clinic, Inc. a community-based health care agency, has been serving Montgomery County for more than 40 years. The clinic provides medical, dental, behavioral health, nutrition services and more.

According to Jose Luis Diaz, communications director of Community Clinic, Inc., the clinic will offer a new HIV care program that features counseling, general care, and a nurse for each patient.

“We will treat the person as a whole. … There’s going to be a primary care team … always the same team for each person,” Diaz said.

The organization helps annually 50,000 people in Montgomery County, and Northern and Prince George’s County. In this MyMCMedia extra, Diaz talks the new program.
