New Group Opposing Hate to Hold Its First Rally on April 23
Inspired by the recent hate-inspired threats made in the community, a coalition of organizations and leaders are coming together to launch Communities United Against Hate (CUAH) on April 23 at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School.
The goal of this organization is to combat bigotry, support victims of hate and promote inclusiveness in Montgomery County, according to a news release.
Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh is expected to be in attendance to deliver the keynote address.
Kickoff for this event begins at 4:30 p.m. For more information or to RSVP, click here.
