New Germantown Mission BBQ Opening Delayed
Mission BBQ is coming to Germantown soon but not quite as soon as anticipated. The opening was set for Jan. 13 but MyMCMedia has learned that the opening will now be delayed. No word on the reason for the delay or when the new opening date will be.
This will be Montgomery County’s second Mission BBQ (the Rockville location was the first) and Maryland’s 16th. It is located at 19800 Century Boulevard.
The first Mission BBQ was opened in Glen Burnie in 2011 on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 by founders Bill Kraus and Steve Newton. The goal of the first location was to support military, police, firefighters and first responders.
