New Farm Program
Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and Economic Development Director Steve Silverman announce the launch of first-in-the-nation program to support agricultural entrepreneurs on August 6 at Red Wiggler Farm Barn in Germantown.
Designed to expand the local economy, the program encourages new farmers to stay in Montgomery County rather than looking elsewhere for available land.
The county officials were also joined by members of the agricultural community.
