New 3rd District Station Opens May 14

The 3rd District Station located at 801 Sligo Avenue in Silver Spring will be closing Wednesday, May 14, at 4 p.m. after 52 years of service. The new 3rd District Station, located at 1002 Milestone Drive in Silver Spring, will be opening at 3 p.m. to serve those in need of walk-in police assistance. The new telephone number for the 3rd District Station is 240.773.6800.

The public is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony June 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the new station.
