National Weather Service Issues Winter Storm Warning for Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from now to 9 a.m. Sunday.
According to the warning, a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will fall today thru Sunday morning.
Accumulations between 3 to 6 inches of snow and sleet are expected beginning between 10 a.m. and noon today. Precipitation will change to rain with areas of freezing rain late tonight.
Temperatures are expected in the upper 20s today and rising to the middle 30s tonight.
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow and sleet and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This will make travel hazardous.
