National Weather Service Issues Wind Advisory For Montgomery County

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory for Montgomery County until 6 p.m. today.

According to the NWS, winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects, tree limbs and a few power outages may result.

The Wind Advisory has been expanded as west to northwest winds 20 to 30 mph will gust up to 50 mph today. The strong winds combined with low relative humidity will also bring an enhanced threat for the spread of wildfires.
