UPDATED: National Weather Service Issues Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Montgomery County
UPDATED The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Montgomery County effective from now until midnight on June 9th. An earlier tornado watch expired at 8 p.m. on Monday night.
As thunderstorms rolled across Montgomery County, Fire and Rescue Services Spokesperson Pete Piringer reported a tree had fallen on a house along Lewis Avenue in Rockville. There were no injuries, Piringer said.
