
Update: National Weather Service Issues Freeze Warning for Friday
Update: The National Weather Service canceled the freeze watch issued earlier today and has issued a freeze warning for the region from 2 to 9 a.m. Friday.
As temperatures dip below 32 degrees, the National Weather Service has a issued a freeze watch for the Washington D.C. region until Friday morning.
Lower temperatures can have a negative impact on vegetation and the NWS is urging people to take steps to protect plans from the cold.
In addition to the freeze watch, a wind advisory is in effect until Friday morning.
Temperatures over the weekend will climb back up to the 50s but the forecast show lows in the 30s until Monday.
