National Weather Service Issues Flood Watch for MoCo
Wet weather is moving into our area today.
In fact, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flood watch for Montgomery County from now thru 10 a.m. on Monday morning.
According to the NWS advisory, heavy rain will move into the area Sunday and Monday. Rainfall totals are expected around 1.5 inches. Residents may see small streams and creeks rise, possibly overflowing their banks and flooding may occur in low lying and poor drainage areas.
Thunderstorms are also possible Monday afternoon and evening and some of these storms may include damaging wind gusts and large hail.
