National Weather Service Issues a Wind Advisory for Montgomery County

windThe National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory for Montgomery County that is effective from 4 p.m. to midnight.

According to the NWS advisory, the strongest winds will take place between 7 – 11 p.m. Winds will be blowing from the west between 20 to 30 mph with gusts around 50 mph.

Residents are advised that there may be scattered tree and power line damage.  Residents should secure outdoor furniture and take care driving high profile vehicles.
