MVA Offices and VEIP Stations to Close June 24 for System Updates
Maryland is temporarily closing its MVA offices and Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program stations on Saturday for statewide computer upgrades.
According to a news release, the temporary shutdown and upgrades are necessary to integrate new IT data based on legislation that goes into effect on July 1.
Customers will not be able to conduct web or self-service kiosk transactions on June 24 from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The MVA’s ten self-service VEIP kiosks will not be impacted.
