Multi-Vehicle Accident in Silver Spring

Montgomery County police and fire rescue units responded to a multi-vehicle accident in the 2000 block of University Boulevard West around 9:30 p.m. on May 8 in Silver Spring.

Fire Spokesperson Pete Piringer reported on his Twitter account that eight patients were transported to area hospitals with injuries, including one trauma patient.

At this hour, there is no information about what caused the accident.
