How Much Is That Doggie in the Database? County Adoption Center Puts Pooches Online
Data Montgomery — the county’s website that publishes information about food inspections, 311 requests and employee salaries — has gone to the dogs. And the cats. And the turtles. And just about every other adoptable creature.
The website now includes a database of all the creatures, great and small, the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center has available.
In an email, Victoria Lewis of the county’s Department of Technology Services, says the list is updated every two hours. The database has columns for the animal, breed, size, age and pictures.
