Movie Premiere Highlights Clemente Middle’s Rock Band Program (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

The rockstars were in the audience at Seneca Valley High School Tuesday night, but the movie played on the stage was all about them.

Krista Brick has the story.

House Studios, D.C. launched its world premiere of Best Day of My Life, a 50-minute documentary mostly about the Robert Clemente Middle School Rock Band program and the effort to spread Rock In Schools curriculum to other Montgomery County Public Schools.

The docmentary shows how the program uses rock music to teach music education, collaboration and music history to the students. Teacher Randi Levy said she has seen the Rock Band program improve student attendance, grade and interest in learning.
