Mounted Police Training (Video)
Some Montgomery County Park Police officers spend part of their time on duty on horseback. These mounted police patrol at fairs, parades and assist with crowd control. In this video, Sgt. Rick Pelicano of the Maryland National Park Police explains how the horses are trained. Take a look.
