More Than 1,000 Pictures Showed A Day in the Life of Montgomery County (VIDEO)

Through the eyes of the community, we went to find out what it’s your day like whether you work, play or live in Montgomery County.

It all begins with a county proclamation marking April 22 as a Day in the Life of Montgomery County.

Montgomery Community Media encouraged everyone to participate.

The day starts early for some community members. Up before the sun. People were already baking, serving coffee or getting ready for a school day.

“It’s a unique snapshot of a one twenty-four hour day showing kind of incredible diversity that we enjoy here in Montgomery County,” said Montgomery Community Media Executive Director Merlyn Reineke.

We went from Burtonsville to Poolesville; from Silver Spring to Potomac, and also visited Deerwood, Wheaton, and Rockville to see how you spent your day.

Whether it was playing instruments, attending a job interview or serving those in need, more than 1,000 pictures showed how members of the community engage with each other.
