More People Expected to Travel This Memorial Day Weekend
Do you have plans to get away this Memorial Day weekend?
If so, you are going to have a lot of company on local roads.
The auto club, AAA Mid-Atlantic, is projecting that one million Washington metro area residents will take a trip of 50 miles or more this holiday weekend.
“It’s the highest number of holiday travelers hailing from the Washington metro area in a dozen years,” said John Townsend II, AAA Mid-Atlantic’s manager of public and government affairs.
