Montgomery Park Apartments Ribbon Cutting (Photo)

Elected officials, community leaders and residents gathered in Gaithersburg on June 1 to celebrate the opening of the newly renovated Montgomery Park affordable housing apartments in Gaithersburg. The renovations completed by Landmark Realty ranged from new roofs to security and internal repairs—and the company was able to keep rents stable. Landmark also created a community garden to promote healthy living and a sense of community.

Cutting the ribbon were, from left to right, Montgomery County Councilmembers George Leventhal and Phil Andrews, Landmark Realty’s Rob Bindeman, former Redskin and sports broadcaster Rick “Doc” Walker, Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney Katz and Gaithersburg City Councilmembers Jud Ashman and Cathy Drzyzgula.
