Montgomery Nonprofits Provide Bleak Assessments as Shutdown Continues

Montgomery County nonprofits gave bleak assessments Thursday of how they’re faring with the federal government shutdown. They aren’t receiving grants and the demand for their services is growing. Here’s what they told the Health and Human Services Committee of the Montgomery County Council:
