Montgomery Libraries Kids Summer Reading Sign-Ups June 1 (VIDEO)

Montgomery County Public Libraries invites students to participate in this year’s Summer Reading program, which will run June 1 to August 9. This year’s theme for children, birth through grade 6, is “Every Hero Has a Story” and the theme for teens, ages 13 to 17, is “Unmask!”

Participants can sign up for the program and keep track of the books they read or have read to them. Registration is available online and at any MCPL branch library.

Throughout the summer, there will be free programs featuring magic, science, music and storytellers at library branches. STEM events will be featured and will complement this year’s summer reading themes.
