Montgomery County Unveils First Electric Ride On Buses

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and other local officials unveiled the county’s first four electric Ride On buses at the David F. Bone Equipment Maintenance and Transit Operations Center in Rockville. 

The buses produce zero greenhouse gas emissions and each saves the county about $100,000 per year. 10 more buses are expected to be introduced by 2022.
