Montgomery County to Hold Free Rabies Clinic Sunday, Aug. 26

Montgomery County holds rabies clinics once a month from April thru September at its Derwood facility. The next clinic is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 26.

The clinics take place take place at the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center, located at 7315 Muncaster Mill Road in Derwood from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

For county residents, there is no fee for the rabies vaccination but an appropriate pet license must be purchased at the clinic.  Out of county residents will be charged a $4 fee for dogs, cats and ferrets.

All clinics will be held on Sundays.  Below is a list of dates:

• April 15
• May 20
• June 24
• July 15
• August 26
• September 16
