Montgomery County Police Officer Honored as NBC4’s Harris’ Hero

NBC4 Washington veteran anchor Leon Harris each week spotlights a person or organization that make a positive difference in the community. Montgomery County Police Officer Katie Beard was featured last week after being nominated by her neighbor, Michelle James.

Beard is a Community Services officer with the 4th District (Wheaton) station.
