UPDATED: Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Clarksburg Pharmacy (VIDEO)

Montgomery County police officers are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Clarksburg Pharmacy, 23213 Stringtown Road, on Thursday morning.

Police said a male suspect entered the pharmacy shortly before 10 a.m.and displayed a handgun. According to police, the suspect took prescription drugs and then fled. Police have released surveillance video from the robbery, see below:

K9 units and a United States Park Police helicopter assisted officers in the search for the suspect but he was not located.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070.
