Thefts from Vehicles:
Bethesda District:
Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the 4900 block of Cordell Avenue between about 5:25 p.m. and about 8:30 p.m. Jan. 9. Force was reported in one event; property was taken.
Three thefts from vehicles occurred between Jan. 3 and Jan. 10. Affected streets included Old Georgetown Road, Persei Place and Trade Street. Force was reported in two events; property was taken.
Silver Spring District:
Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred during this reporting period. Affected streets included Ellsworth Drive, Bonifant Street, Georgia Avenue, Colesville Road, Ripley Street, Houston Street and Fenton Street. Force was reported in multiple events; cash and property were taken.
Wheaton District:
Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred in the Good Hope area and a suspect was shot by a resident in the early morning hours of Jan. 3. Two other juvenile suspects were arrested.
Two thefts from vehicles occurred between Jan. 7 and Jan. 9. Two thefts occurred in the 4900 block of Bel Pre Road and one theft occurred in the 4800 block of Eades Street. No force; cash and property were taken.

Rockville District:
A commercial burglary occurred at Tex’s Place Deli located at 14630 Southlawn Lane between about 8:30 p.m. Jan. 7 and about 6:15 a.m. Jan. 8. Forced entry; cash and property were taken.
Bethesda District:
A residential burglary occurred in the 7600 block of Connecticut Avenue between about 10:45 a.m. and about 3:45 p.m. Jan. 9. No signs of forced entry, a door was reported to have been left unlocked; property was taken.
A residential burglary occurred in the 7500 block of Pepperell Drive between about 11 a.m. Dec. 27 and about 4 p.m. Jan. 2. No signs of forced entry; property was taken.
Silver Spring:
A man is sought for an armed robbery in the 1400 block of Hampshire West Court at about 11:06 p.m. Jan. 9. The suspect displayed a weapon and took the adult female victim’s property.
A commercial burglary occurred at a construction site in the 12100 block of Plum Orchard Drive between about 5 p.m. Jan. 4 and about 5:40 a.m. Jan. 8. Forced entry; property was taken.
An armed robbery occurred in the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive at about 12 p.m. Jan. 8. Two suspects displayed weapons. The suspects assaulted the two juvenile male victims and took their cash and property.
Police seek three men for an attempted armed robbery in the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Quaint Acres Drive about 1 p.m. Jan. 8. One suspect displayed a weapon. The suspects assaulted one of the two adult male victims and attempted to take their property.
Wheaton District:
A residential burglary occurred in the 12200 block of Bluhill Road between about 12:30 p.m. and about 4:10 p.m. Jan. 4. Forced entry; property was taken.
An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 11600 block of Veirs Mill Road between about 8 a.m. and about 2:31 p.m. Jan. 9.
A residential burglary occurred in the 3400 block of Murdock Road between about 11 p.m. Jan. 2 and about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 4. No signs of forced entry, a door was reported to have possibly been left unlocked; property was taken.
Germantown District:
Police seek a man, aged 40 to 50, for an aggravated assault in the 12900 block of Wisteria Drive about 10:57 a.m. Jan. 2. The suspect displayed a weapon.
Montgomery Village District:
A commercial burglary occurred at the International Bakery located at 211 North Frederick Avenue between about 6 p.m. Jan. 5 and about 6 p.m. Jan. 6. Forced entry; cash was taken.
A 32-year-old man from Capitol Heights has been charged with an aggravated assault in the 19200 block of Watkins Mill Road in the early morning hours of Jan. 7. The suspect displayed a weapon.
A residential burglary occurred in the 8300 block of Giantstep Place between about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 3 and about 10 a.m. Jan. 4. No signs of forced entry; property was taken.
