Montgomery County Hosts Free Seminars for Landlords and Tenants

The Office of Landlord-Tenant Affairs and the Commission on Landlord Tenant Affairs will present two free seminars this month for landlords and tenants.

The first seminar, “Information All Landlords Should Know,” will be held on April 21, at 7 p.m. at the East County Community Recreation Center, 3310 Gateshead Manor Way, Silver Spring. Landlords with four or fewer units may pre-register via email to Landlord.seminars@montgomerycountymd.gov.

The second seminar, “Information All Tenants Should Know” is scheduled for April 28, at 7 p.m. at the East County Community Recreation Center, 3310 Gateshead Manor Way, Silver Spring. Tenants may register by sending an email to Tenant.seminars@montgomerycountymd.gov.

In addition to addressing general landlord or tenant responsibilities, both seminars will address the Fair Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, senior services and programs, housing code enforcement and community policing.
